Carrot Rice
Ingredients :
- Rice - 1 cup (250 gms)
- Water - 2 cups
- Carrots - 8 (grated)
- Oil - 3 tspn
- Ghee - 1 tspn
- Salt - 2 tspns (to taste)
- Onions - 2 (chopped)
- Green chillis - 4 (sliced)
- Cardamom (Elaichi) - 3 pieces
- Cloves (Lavang) - 3 pieces
- Cinammon (Dalchini) - 3 small pieces

- Biriyani leaves - 2
- Jaji puvvu Flower - 3 small pieces
- Cashewnuts - 5 pieces
Procedure :-
- Cook rice and put aside.
- Pour the oil and ghee in a pan and heat in low flame.
- Add cardamom,cloves,cinammon,biriyani leaf,jaji puvvu,chillis and fry and add cashew,onions and fry well and add grated carrot and fry well and add salt.
- Add cooked rice and mix well in low flame.
- Then serve it with Raita or curd.
